Co-Owners of Chateau Leonard Imports, Steve Bates and Len Cairney, are industry executives with more than sixty combined years in the grape and wine business.
Their philosophy is not new, but sometimes difficult to deliver; that is to give the consumer what they want, when they want it. We at CLI have the talent and more importantly the wines to do that. So jump in and experience the joy of tasting new and varied wines.
Bates, a graduate of the University of Georgia with a food science degree has been dealing with foreign suppliers for more than 30 years and is well versed in how these markets work.
Cairney, has a wealth of wine business knowledge, he served as COO of Kendall-Jackson, President of Beaulieu Vineyards, and Managing Director of W.A. Gilbey's in South Africa. His career has included experience in Europe, Africa, South America, Australia, as well as North America.
